See How Guardian Transfer Switches are installed.

1) Generac #RTS-N-200A3, 200amp transfer switch installed with a 150amp main breaker feed. This application applies when you have a 150amp electrical service.

2) Typical 12 Circuit transfer switch installation.

3) This solution allowed Home Power Systems to install a 13kw whole house transfer solution by separating the A/C loads from the transfer switch. Notice the 4 circuit subpanel below the main breaker. When standby power is applied, the A/C loads are not connected.

4) Whole house transfer solution using a Generac RTS-E-200A3 transfer switch.

5) Another whole house transfer installation. HPS also installed a new electrical service for this customer. A tough installation with only a 4' crawl space.

8) This is a great solution offered for very large homes that do not want to spend alot of money. This is a 20-circuit solution with an RTS-N-100A3 transfer switch.

13) An emergency service call to a burned up transfer switch. The installer did not label the cables correctly and landed the neutral cable on the hot side of the switch....poof!
