The Cold Weather Kit, applicable for all standby generators includes a battery warmer with a thermostat built into the battery wrap. When temperatures fall below an acceptable level, the thermostat activates the battery warmer maintaining optimum battery temperature for the best generator start up.
- All Generac/Guardian 2007 Air Cooled Models & 8kw(2008 model) without digital controller
- Includes battery warmer, tie straps, and built in thermostat
* When installing a cold weather kit, it is required to replace your engine oil with 5W-30 synthetic oil for better engine start capability.
This kit is intended for use with the Generac/Guardian Air-Cooled Automatic Standby Generators that do not utilize the digital controller. The connection is a 120V plug that will require a voltage source.
