The Cold Weather Kit, applicable for all standby generators includes a battery warmer with a thermostat built into the battery wrap. When temperatures fall below an acceptable level, the thermostat activates the battery warmer maintaining optimum battery temperature for the best generator start up.

 *When installing a cold weather kit, it is required to replace your engine oil with 5W-30 synthetic oil for better engine start capability.

 This is intended for the with the Generac/Guardian Air-Cooled Automatic Standby Generators that utilize the "digital controller" (10-20kw). The connections consist of 2 ring terminals that are attached to the appropriate neutral and ground and a bare lead that is inserted into the AC connection block that is connected inside the generator control panel.
